Conventions of a horror magazine consist of an obvious feature which is red, red untimely connotes danger, blood and violence, all areas which a horror lover looks for. Black is also used to fill out the majority of the colour again this connotes danger and mystery. All magazine above have a close up face on which odd features such as a red eye, this allows the audience to quickly distinguish that this is a horror edition. Similar to other magazines there is a lot going on to grab people attention, horror genre tends to have other aspects of horror on the front of the magazine. Also the title of the film always tend to be visible but this biggest writing is the title of the magazine.
